FF1 Rules
Team Rules
1) Each player can enter a maximum of 2 teams; you must specify a team name which gives an indication of who you are (your name is default)
2) For each team, you must choose 6 different drivers
3) There are ?? (who knows!) GPs; teams can be changed during the change windows, see the Races tab
4) Associated with each driver is a Price; the total price of your team must not exceed 100
5) The admin reserves the right to change the Driver prices before the change windows
6) It costs £10 to enter one team; this is a one-off entry fee, for the whole season
Game Rules
1) Race Points: a driver finishing first gets 40 pts, then 35, 32, 28, 26, 24,22,20,18,16,12,10,8,6,4,3,2,1,0
2) If your selected driver finishes but not in the predicted place : score the lower of prediction and result
3) If your driver fails to qualify, start or is not classified as finishing: score zero points
4) Finishing positions are as published on the FIA.com F1 results page The result used by FF1 is the published result at the end of the day's racing; this is the case even if it is known that a steward's enquiry is still to be held
5) Having calculated the total race points, the team(s) scoring the highest number of race points earn X championship points where X=12; the team(s) scoring the 2nd highest number of race points earn X-1 championship points, etc., down to the Xth highest number of race points which earn 1 championship point
6) Note that although you nominate drivers, you are really nominating a car: If Vettel breaks his leg at the Australian GP and Bernie gets Vettel's car for the next GP and you have Vettel in your team, then your team is automatically updated to replace Vettel with Bernie Your team stays like this until the next team change opportunity (when you can change it)
7) League position is determined by total number of championship points In the event of a tie, total race points are taken into account
8) In the event of a Stewards' enquiry, which any player may demand, the Probity Panel's adjudication will be final and binding on all teams
Teams to be entered by Friday 12 noon
